When you handle your lenses , whether it is before you put them on or before you take them out, always remember to wash your hands with soap, rinse and dry them well, with a clean towel.
WEARING YOUR CONTACT LENSES
Place the contact lens on the palm of your hand and make sure that it looks clean.
Ensure that the contact lens is not torn.
Ensure that the contact lens is the right way around. If the edges flare up slightly it is the wrong way around.
Place the contact lens on your forefinger. Using the forefinger on your opposite hand, firmly hold up the upper eyelid to prevent you from blinking. Then with the third finger on the hand in which you have the contact lens , firmly hold down your lower eyelid.
Gently place the contact lens onto your eye. Remove your fingers and close your eye for a few seconds.
The contact lens should have slipped into place.
Repeat on the other eye.
REMOVING YOUR CONTACT LENSES
Once again always wash your hands with soap, rinse and dry them well with a clean towel.
Firmly pull down your lower eyelid with your third finger. Place your fore finger on the bottom edge of your lens and slide it down to the white part of your eye.
Gently pinch the contact lens between your finger and your thumb and remove the contact lens from your eye.
Just remember that practice makes perfect. At first it may seem difficult but within a few days or weeks you will be running through it.
